There are more choices than ever, whether you prefer a sporty coupe or a roomy sedan. Narrowing down your choices is going to be the toughest part of the process, but with this list, you have plenty of options to give Santa. Here are the top electric cars being released in 2019, along with all their perks:
- 2019 Audi e-tron. This gorgeous gem is the only Audi SUV built with an electric framework. It’s perfect for road trips, and the Audi e-tron provides all-wheel drive with an impressive long range. It also gets 128 city miles and 110 highway, which is one of the major factors causing drivers to reconsider electric vehicles.
- 2019 BMW Mini E. Although BMW has said they’ll release at least a dozen electric vehicles by 2025, the Mini E is slated to be the first. It comes with a 1.5 L 3-cylinder engine and a starting price just under $37,000. Depending on a 12-mile battery-only range, this is sure to be a game changer for BMW. The warranty is also impressive with a four-year 50,000 basic and power train option available.
Switching to an electric vehicle used to be a big leap of faith. The ranges were short and since there were so many newcomers, it was a risk for drivers.
