Mosaic Hotel (www.mosaichotel.com), located in the heart of Beverly Hills announces that they are re-launching just in time for summer travel, following an extensive multi-million dollar renovation. Ushering in a new era of boutique hospitality, the re-imagined Mosaic Hotel will be a beautiful Beverly Hills hotel, a beacon of understated elegance with a modern edge.
Mosaic Hotel, an intimate boutique 49-room property is managed by Gemstone Hotels & Resorts, a full-service hotel management company that specializes in unique luxury hotels and resorts. Just steps from famed attractions including Rodeo Drive and the Golden Triangle, the property provides a serene sanctuary. The new interior design is rich and welcoming with an alluring look and feel, as envisioned by Luxlo, a luxury London-based design firm, which is now making its first foray into Beverly Hills. Mosaic Hotel offers visitors and residents a stylish and sophisticated respite with prime access to Los Angeles’ premier shopping and dining.
“We carefully considered our guests’ needs in redesigning the property,” says Gnell Abracosa, Mosaic Hotel’s Managing Director. “Mosaic Hotel now stands out as a distinctive and design-forward boutique offering, which caters to leisure and business travelers alike.” Tim King, Luxlo’s principal designer adds, “Our goal with the redesign was to fuse a European sensibility with a modern American style, which pays homage to our iconic host community.”
California is celebrated in the redesign through the injection of bright colors and original design elements, from the whimsical wallpaper to the ultramodern artwork. Guests are greeted by a classic doorman with a Bowler hat and a welcoming lobby complete with a medley of the world’s finest furnishings and fabrics. Mosaic Hotel’s new design has comfortable residential touches mixed with modern furnishings and artistic touches including bespoke silk embroidered Fromental wallpaper with a nod to famed artist David Hockney, as well as a custom weave sculpture by Renee Dinauer and original wall art by David Dauncey.
The energetic and vibrant interiors embrace natural tones and materials including Mosaic’s signature sage as well as bright white, azure and dark blues throughout. Seductive dark blue corridors with bronze pinstripes are juxtaposed with light and contemporary cool guest suites. Stylistic and functional, each of the creatively designed rooms feature distinctive low-slung clean-lined chairs, luxurious linens and whimsical wall art. With Beverly Hills famed palm trees on the walls, the well-appointed bathrooms boast rainfall shower heads, filletto marble tiles and white stone vanities throughout with white Calacatta marble for the suites. With state-of-the-art latest technology, guests can feel at home with connectivity options that can be personalized to their own devices. The rooms come stocked with all today’s luxury-boutique must-haves including recessed lighting, electric “do not disturb” signs and Nespresso machines.
Dining at Mosaic, with its fresh California cuisine, offers intimate indoor seating or al fresco dining nestled amidst the lush gardens. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the restaurant provides a comfortable neighborhood retreat with an elegant lobby bar showcasing the finest liqueurs, wines and cocktails. The refreshed pool area with its sleek white furniture, cabanas and cozy fire pit delivers an inspiring setting to swim and unwind.
