Beverly Hills is celebrating their centennial with a long list of events scheduled throughout the year and hosted by The Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce with many participating businesses in support of our beautiful city. We celebrated the Chinese New Year of the Horse with a fabulous celebration at Crustacean restaurant in Beverly Hills.
The Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce and Master Chef Helene An of celebrity hot spot Crustacean by House of An joined an exclusive group of 350 local executives and business owners, as well as politically and socially prominent Angelenos, for Experience East Meets West the premier event honoring Beverly Hills’ momentous centennial year. Beverly Hills is proud to be 100 years old and each of its residents, business owners, and celebrities alike are celebrating the centennial in absolute style. The restaurant was transformed into a traditional Chinese themed venue with all the trappings of Chinese culture. The performances were spectacular. From musical performances, to stand up comedians, dancers, fire dancers, cirque art, a Heaven-and-Earth food bazaar, and the unveiling of Chef An’s new Centennial Secret Kitchen dish and much much more. Celebrities like Jessica Alba, Vivica A. Fox, Tia Carerra, Alan Thicke, Terence Howard, Tommy Davidson and other notable guests joined the event in honor of the new year of the horse including Beverly Hills Mayor John A. Mirisch, Vice Mayor Lili Bosse, Councilmember William W. Brien, M.D., Councilmember Julian A. Gold, M.D., and Councilmember Nancy H. Krasne.
Throughout its century of existence, Beverly Hills has been crucial in the development of the greater Los Angeles area, enabling it to become the world’s epicenter of entertainment and music. The Experience celebrated Beverly Hills influential history through an evening that truly ignited the senses.
