Kourtney Kardashian Wedding Ceremonies
The television star and media influencer recently celebrated with a pair of occasions to mark her marriage to Travis Barker, drummer of Blink-182. The most recent was a small courthouse gathering to sign their marriage license. The first was an all-out event in Portofino, Italy where they rented a castle for their closest family and friends to celebrate in lavish style. Both featured unique, custom Dolce & Gabbana outfits for the bride. She shared photos of the occasions on social media, including a kiss from her new husband.
Designer Wedding Dresses
Kourtney wore a Dolce & Gabbana lace bustier micro-mini dress for the intimate event. The details were a gold and red heart emblem on the bodice with matching burgundy velvet pumps. She finished the look with sheer gloves and a matching veil. Her husband wore burgundy velvet shoes, a black suit, and designer sunglasses.
Kourtney wore an Alta Moda lace and satin corset mini dress for her Italian wedding ceremony. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana personally designed the one-of-a-kind couture piece. It was inspired by iconic Italian lingerie. Accessories included a pair of tulle gloves, lace pumps, and an extravagant tulle veil. The hand-embroidered lace featured a Virgin Mary surrounded by Portofino flowers. The religious iconography was a replica of Travis’s tattoos. He also wore a Dolce & Gabbana suit for their vows.
The bride and all the Kardashians were also pictured wearing a third set of black Dolce & Gabbana gowns for the welcome and pre-wedding meals. The dress was an archival piece from the D&G spring/summer 1998 collection.
Celebrities at Alta Moda 2022
The 10th anniversary of the Alta Moda extravaganza was a celebration of design and classic Italian. The select 750 guests included many fashionable celebrities attending the feasts, music, shows, and events scattered across some of the oldest parts of Siracusa, Sicily.
Mariah Carey made a dramatic entrance flanked by the designers and draped in a figure-hugging Dolce & Gabbana dress. The stellar line-up of celebrity guests wearing D&G included Sharon Stone and Helen Mirren in a voluminous striped gown.
Other celebrities also in attendance at the exclusive happenings included Lupita Nyong’o, singer Ciara with her husband and children in matching gold and white, Christian Bale, Kris Jenner, Drew Barrymore, Heidi Klum, and Casey Affleck and Monica Bellucci.
