One brave and courageous man has taken on the duty of being a care giver for thousands of children by overseeing an orphanage that supports hundreds of children every week. Known as the COPE Trust- Children Oriented Progressive Education Trust. For over 17 years, Fr.Jesu Sathianathenin from Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India has established a school and fully functional orphanage to educate and cultivate the inner resources of these precious children.
While many people live in the lap of luxury, and many more live with a full refrigerator, a couple cars, and a household whom they can confide in and share memories with, there are far more millions of beautiful children who are left abandoned by parents or with parents who simply cannot afford to support their survival, much less provide a formal education and a loving home that will ensure their success.
More over for the last six years they have not had enough rains here in this part of India. So the people in the villages suffer a lot with no water, no work and no income due which is why so many lots of children are forced to come to Fr.Jesu for their education, food, and dress.
At this time, they are seeking additional financial supporters to join them in their cause to properly provide the necessary resources for these children to not just thrive, but survive.
