It’s a dream for many people to own a stylish sports car. For those who love the Lamborghini, their dreams keep on recurring every time the brand announces a new release. This year it won’t be different. Why? Because Lamborghini is releasing a new model soon, the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4. It’s clear from the video trailer and a few pictures taken during its unveiling at the Motorsports Gathering. This iconic model comes with all sorts of new features that have never been seen before in any other supercar. For info about this upcoming iconic sports car, read on.
What to Expect on the Interior
The upcoming Lamborghini Countach is expected to have a beautiful interior design with an elegant sports car look. Also, the seats should be comfortable and stylish, which helps the driver see more clearly and has easy control of the vehicle at all times. It may also have lots of room for storage, so it will be easy to pack some luggage.
Its interior will have infotainment features and plenty of safety technology installed in case an accident occurs. Another inclusion to expect is the 8.4-inch HDMI touchscreen, similar to the one found in Lamborghini Sian. Apparently, the touchscreen will have a unique button marked ‘Design’. When pressed, the infotainment system will display the history lesson of the Countach design.
As you would expect from a supercar dashboard, it will have all the instruments to make the driving experience more exciting! The cluster and console will have a high-tech look with lots of LED lights. Besides that, expect additional features that help enhance the control aspects and driving experience.
How the Exterior Looks
The exterior of the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 draws inspiration from the original Countach, the ‘Periscopio’ version of 1974. But for the latest Countach, the dream car of the 21st century features a modernized body design, which makes the car look more stylish, luxurious, and sleek. Likewise, the contours are perfectly made to bring a modern touch that will appeal to the new generation. Too, its aerodynamic design makes this sports car stand out from any other fast car available in the market.
In addition, the front grill is very classy, neat, and has that familiar Lambo look. The LED headlights are square (don’t pop up) but broader, making this fast car look more agile. Unlike other sports cars, this upcoming model lacks a rear wing spoiler, but it features extra air intakes, air scoops, and gills found high on the rear bodywork. Also, the bonnet features a slim, black bar with a ‘Countach’ badge running across.
Other body features on this new Countach include LED brake lights, quad exhausts, a carbon fibre diffuser, and a set of black panels beneath the rear bodywork. The supercar will have scissor doors. It will also be available in 33 different colours, including heritage colours like Verde Scandal.
The Power Beneath Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4
The new Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 sports car is a dream vehicle for those who love speed and power. It will come equipped with a 6.5-litre V12 mild-hybrid, similar to the limited edition of Lamborghini Sian. The expectation is that the hybrid engine will generate 814 hp. From which, the hybrid system will contribute 34hp, while the petrol engine produces the rest.
With this fast car, expect to go from zero to 60mph in 2.8 seconds and 8.6 seconds from zero to 124mph and reach a top speed of 200+ mph. The new Countach borrows a lot from Sian and Aventador mechanical makeup, including the four-wheel-drive system. It’s only fair to assume. This supercar will feature a transmission system similar to one of these two models.
How Much Will the New Countach Cost?
The Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 is a dream car many have been waiting for. It will be available for sale as soon as 2022. Although the carmaker is yet to announce the price, there is a belief; the new sports car will cost about $2.6 million. Again, it’s worth noting they will only make 112 units. So, if you want this iconic car, place your order before it’s too late.
Final Remarks
The upcoming 2022 Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 will be the successor to the original design. However, the new model features a modernized body, an updated engine with a hybrid system, and an array of other new features. In short, this iconic sports car uses its heritage to inspire the future.
