The Gotham Independent Film Awards, selected by distinguished juries and presented in New York City, the home of independent film, are the first honors of the film awards season. This public showcase honors the filmmaking community, expands the audience for independent films, and supports the work that IFP does behind the scenes throughout the year to bring such films to fruition. Each year the Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards shine light on the talented actors and actresses in Hollywood. This year’s lineup of award nominees for Best Feature and Best Documentary proves there is tremendous talent emerging in Hollywood filmmaking and entertainment.
The Gotham Independent Film Awards ceremony will be held at Cipriani Wall Street which is located at 55 Wall Street (between William and Hanover) in lower Manhattan.
The event will be held on Monday, December 2, 2013. The cocktail reception begins at 6:30 PM. Dinner and awards ceremony at 7:30 PM. The evening concludes by 10:30 PM.
