We spoke with Founder, Mr. Jon Gluck to learn more about this revolutionizing bottled water, and how it truly is changing the way water is experienced, inside and out.
What inspired you to start this company? “I’ve always been an entrepreneur. I love building companies, particularly building brands. I grew up in Beverly Hills and I care deeply about the community, so I wanted to create a product that represented the city in the best possible light. I had always been fascinated with water, and how over the years it has grown to become not just a thirst quencher but a lifestyle product. I was at dinner at Spago with some friends one evening, and it became very obvious to me that the “water” was the one thing in the entire dining experience that fell short. It seemed as though water was playing second fiddle, and it didn’t have to. I felt it should be just as luxurious as the other elements. So I did some research and found out that water does in fact, also have an effect on the taste and flavors of other foods and drinks. So my team and I started uncovering a need in the marketplace to create a luxury brand water that can be just as prestigious as a fine wine or champagne, and Beverly Water 90H20 was born.”
What makes 90H20 different from traditional bottled waters? “First, we have created a paradigm shift in the way water is brought to the public. Traditional companies find a natural source, bottle the water and create a romantic story around the source. We’ve discovered that “romanticized story” no longer resonates with people and secondly, that traditional water does not do what it could do, which is have a profound and positive effect on the taste and flavors of other foods and drinks, thereby improving the consumption experience. After several tests and much research, our team has created the first ever truly crafted water that;

Tell us about the crafting process? “This took our team about a year. We experimented with various foods and drinks, while mixing different minerals and elements into the water itself, until we finally found the perfect flavor, texture, and taste. We didn’t know what to expect when we began crafting the water, but once we discovered 90H20 we knew we had created something very special.”
What are your future plans for the brand? “Currently you can purchase a pack of 12 -1 liter bottles. We will be releasing a 12 pack of smaller bottles for on the go consumption, and then we’ll follow that up with the release of our sparkling water. We intend for this product to be a global brand, with an international presence in fine establishments everywhere. From day one, we’ve had over 30 different countries inquire with interest in our product. So our first year has been setting the stage for the quality of 90H20, and in the coming years we will build upon that foundation with major expansions.”
Have you discovered a personal purpose in what you do? “I’ve had so many people tell me that they had this water at their wedding or party, and I’ve come to realize that we have created a product that is changing the way people experience water, its moving their emotions and elevating their life experiences. It’s very rewarding to know that so many people love this product and that it is adding something positive to their lives.”
What advice would you give to other aspiring entrepreneurs out there? “First and foremost, is surrounding yourself with a dream team. Know your strengths and skills, discover what needs must be filled within the business to ensure its success and growth, and then find your dream team to fill the positions to meet those needs. It is impossible for one person to be great at everything. I’ve always thrived with a team synergy. Second, your product, business or service has to be truly differentiated. Nine out of ten businesses fail. It’s not even worth it to launch a company until your 100% certain that you’re introducing something so different, so unique, that it becomes special.”
