“There is so little in life that we can control, but looking our best is something that is within reach for all of us,” says Alchemy 43 Founder and beauty innovator, Nicci Levy. “I’ve seen how a simple coat of mascara or an injectable treatment can give a woman a renewed sense of radiance. Alchemy 43 is a passion project that allows me to share my expertise with others and helps them feel like their most beautiful selves.”

As the leading Business Development Manager for Allergan in Beverly Hills, Levy promoted several notable medical aesthetic beauty brands like Botox, Latisse and Juvederm before bringing the Alchemy 43 vision to fruition. Previously, she worked for over 10 years in corporate cosmetics. She was an expert at MAC, Nordstrom, and as the Director of Global Sales and Education at ck Calvin Klein Beauty where she was responsible for launching their cosmetics line.

She proves beauty is more than skin deep, as a female entrepreneur she talks about her journey to success.

Beverly Hills Magazine: How did you come up with your business idea?

Nicci Levy: I have been in the beauty industry for years, and I always knew the injectable business was huge, but there wasn’t a niche service that allowed woman to have a fully customized and personalized experience focusing solely on their injectable needs. I set out to create it.

Beverly Hills Magazine: How did you come up with the name?

Nicci Levy: I was inspired a little bit by the book, The Alchemist, but mostly it really came to me, and I looked up the definition of Alchemy, which was “a seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination.” It’s perfectly defines what we do for woman and their beauty. The 43 comes from the fact that there are 43 muscles in the face. I thought it was a nice fit.

Beverly Hills Magazine: What do you believe makes a woman beautiful?

Nicci Levy: Beauty is the way a woman feels about herself. It’s intangible, you can’t touch or feel it, but you experience beauty. When a woman feels beautiful she’s more vibrant and radiant, and it comes from within her. That’s what we do here; we create beauty for women within themselves. It’s wonderful when a client comes in for her service, and she leaves with a huge smile on her face ready to face the world with confidence. That’s priceless.
