In a world increasingly interested in wellness, consciousness, and personal transformation, Natalia Ray is taking a thoughtful approach to subjects that are often difficult to define. As a certified clinical hypnotherapist trained at the London School of Clinical and Cognitive Hypnotherapy, Natalia has completed more than 2,000 client sessions while developing a distinctive body of work focused on energy, intuition, and personal awareness.

What makes her professional journey especially compelling is the way she brings together clinical education with extensive spiritual and initiatory training. Natalia holds verified initiations at seven sacred sites across the world and has trained directly in the Tibetan Bon tradition. Rather than asking people to simply accept extraordinary claims, she encourages a more grounded exploration of intuitive experiences through structure, discernment, and safety.

Through her 7 Rays Method, Natalia is helping people explore their intuitive abilities while asking important questions about perception, the mind, trauma, neuroscience, and consciousness. Her work offers an intriguing bridge between subjects that are often placed on opposite sides of the conversation: clinical practice and spirituality, scientific inquiry and personal experience, and curiosity about the unexplained and the importance of remaining grounded.

For Natalia, the goal is not simply to make extraordinary claims. It is to encourage people to become more discerning about their own experiences while developing greater awareness of the mind and its remarkable capabilities.

Beverly Hills Magazine Q&A with Natalia Ray

Beverly Hills Magazine: Today we are joined by Natalia Ray, a certified clinical hypnotherapist with more than 2,000 client sessions, four books, and extensive training in energy work and intuitive development. Natalia brings together clinical training, spiritual traditions, and a grounded approach to understanding intuition. Through her Seven Rays Method, she helps people explore their intuitive abilities with greater awareness, discernment, and safety.

Natalia, welcome to the show. How are you?

Natalia Ray: I am great, thank you. Thank you for having me here.

Beverly Hills Magazine: I am so excited to dive into this conversation with you. You have such an incredible story and wealth of knowledge in a rather unusual subject: hypnotherapy. Tell us a little about your backstory and what ultimately led you into what you do today.

Natalia Ray: Since I can remember, I have always felt a little bit different. I was a very deeply sensitive child. I could feel the energy of places and people, sense other people’s emotions, and sometimes even feel their physical pain in my own body.

I never told anyone because I felt that if people saw who I really was, I would not be accepted. So I spent most of my life, until I turned 35, pretending to be normal like everyone else.

At the age of 35, I started my spiritual awakening. I began meditating and working with energy. My clairvoyance opened up, and I started to see how our lives were really working on an energetic level.

This is where I began practicing various methods and trying different tools. I wanted to discover my life purpose and mission, and what my gifts were.

I realized that I had several abilities, including clairsentience and clairvoyance, as well as an ability to feel energy. I also discovered that I was quite good at hypnotherapy. It seemed to be a natural gift for me because I had been recording meditations and conducting guided meditations for groups.

I noticed that I could really put people into a trance, so I decided I should learn how to do it professionally. I completed a diploma in hypnotherapy at the London College of Clinical Hypnotherapy.

That is how I combined my gift, my purpose, and my professional identity.

Beverly Hills Magazine: That is incredible. I believe we have all been given spiritual gifts and talents from God. I am a Christian, and the Bible teaches that people have different gifts. Some have the gift of prophecy, while others have sensitivity to the emotions or energy of other people. We are spiritual beings, so we are endowed with spiritual gifts. I love your gift.

Natalia Ray: Finally, I developed my own method for working with people. I use it both when working one-on-one and with groups.

I use my sensitivity to connect with people and feel what the problem is because people do not always articulate what the real problem is. Sometimes, on the surface, it looks like one thing, but on a deeper energetic level, there is an energy block.

I use my ability to identify what I perceive as the root of the problem on an energetic level and then work with it through both energy work and hypnotherapy.

Beverly Hills Magazine: You have conducted more than 2,000 client sessions. What has this extensive experience taught you about human behavior and consciousness? As you said, people can be dealing with energetic blocks that may be holding them back in relationships or in achieving success. Have you noticed a common block?

Natalia Ray: I have made many observations. I get a lot of clients who are interested in opening their psychic abilities. For some reason, those people are attracted to me the most.

These people often feel different signs of sensitivity. For example, animals may be drawn to them because of what they perceive as their healing energy. They may sense who is calling them before even looking at the phone. They can have very bright and vivid dreams, and sometimes they report seeing the future in their dreams.

Some are very sensitive to other people’s emotions and find it difficult to understand whether an emotion belongs to them or to someone else.

I have observed that these people often have what I describe as blocks in the area of their head. Some experience migraines and headaches, which I interpret as psychosomatic responses related to those blocks.

I also have many clients who have difficulty becoming visible. For example, they may want to start a coaching business or another business where they help others, but they cannot record a video. They may experience what I describe as a block in their throat. Sometimes they can feel heaviness when they have to speak.

Beverly Hills Magazine: Are these blocks caused by past trauma or emotional experiences? Where do these spiritual blocks come from?

Natalia Ray: They do come from trauma, as I see it.

When we go through a painful experience, we can experience a lot of pain that is not physical but emotional. For example, when someone goes through a breakup, they can experience intense pain in the chest area. It is not physical pain, but it can be extremely painful.

When someone has experienced trauma, they know how it feels. Later, however, we can become accustomed to the pain and think it is gone. People say that time heals you, but I do not believe it necessarily heals you. You may simply become accustomed to the pain while it remains there.

For example, I believe this pain can create a block around what I call the spiritual heart. This can make it difficult to connect deeply with other people or create a deep relationship on a soul or heart level.

People with this type of block can have difficulty creating relationships. They can feel lonely, and even when they enter a relationship, they may still feel lonely because they cannot connect on that deeper level.

When the block is released, it can change how a person feels about themselves, life, other people, and partnership.

Beverly Hills Magazine: That is important for us to understand. From my Christian perspective, God made us in His image: body, soul, and spirit. We have to understand the importance of the connection between our physical world and our spiritual nature, including what you describe as the heart.

We often hear people say, “Keep your heart open.” Ideally, we want to keep our hearts open, but experiences can break our hearts, and that can cause us to close ourselves off. How do you work with people energetically so they can open their hearts, connect, and potentially love again?

Natalia Ray: I created my own method, which combines clinical hypnotherapy with energy work. I use words to put the client into a trance while simultaneously using energy work to address what I perceive as a block.

Imagine there is a flow of energy that breaks the block into pieces and then releases it. I use both approaches at the same time while the client is in a trance state.

In most cases, the client goes deeply into trance. They may be asleep or half asleep. Afterwards, they can feel lighter and very different, as though something has changed not only in the mind but also in the subconscious and on an energetic level.

Beverly Hills Magazine: I definitely believe that we are energetic. We have a force field of energy around us, whether good or bad. Our emotions and thoughts can impact that energy field because we are spiritual beings. We are confined to a physical body, but our spirits still express spiritual energy.

You have also written four books. Can you tell us about them and what people can take away from them?

Natalia Ray: I think the most interesting book is The Light Bearer’s Path. I wrote this book about my memories of past lives. I know that not everyone believes in past lives, but I experienced many regressions when I first began my awakening.

The book is about love and love that lasts through different lifetimes. I wrote it about myself, my husband, and my daughter. It is partly fiction and partly based on what I describe as my memories.

The idea of the book is that love is the most important thing we have and that it can go beyond one life. Concentrating on partnership, love, and relationships with soul mates is, to me, one of the most important things.

Beverly Hills Magazine: That is beautiful. It is also consistent with the Christian understanding that love is stronger than death. Jesus teaches us about the eternal nature of love. Love is one of the most powerful forces in the universe, and God is love.

If we operate from a place of love, rather than fear or trauma, it can fundamentally change our life experience. Would you agree?

Natalia Ray: Yes, that is exactly what my book is about.

When someone is traumatized and scared, they may say, “I would rather stay alone and lonely.” They may concentrate on materialistic things, but I do not believe that is what ultimately makes us happy because every human has a soul.

I believe the soul is immortal. People sometimes disregard emotions and say, “Those are just emotions,” as though emotions are not important.

I believe the opposite. Emotions are extremely important to human beings because, from my perspective, emotions exist at the soul level. For the body, we need material things, but for our soul, emotions are what matter.

That is why I wrote this book.

I also have another book about energy healing, where I explain my vision of healing and how different problems can form on a mental or soul level and how they can influence our lives and, in some instances, our physical bodies.

A few of my books are about my personal story because I have taken some interesting journeys in this life. Travel is one of my passions.

I am passionate about visiting sacred sites around the world. I have been to Glastonbury in the United Kingdom, Mount Sinai in Egypt, the temples of Luxor, Nepal, and Angkor Wat in Cambodia.

All of those experiences were unique. I meditated at these places and received many different insights. This is also something I share in my books.

Beverly Hills Magazine: That is incredible. I definitely believe there are holy sites in the world. In Israel, for example, God sanctified certain places where His presence would be. I have heard stories of people visiting those places and experiencing an atmosphere that feels different.

As spiritual beings, when we enter places considered holy, we can potentially experience a deeper connection to spirituality.

Natalia Ray: It actually started for me in the United Kingdom, in Glastonbury. It is a small town, but there are three sacred sites there.

One is called Glastonbury Tor. There is also Chalice Well and Glastonbury Abbey. I found all of these places very powerful.

As a sensitive person, I felt a strong connection and experienced many memories. This is where I understood that these places existed for me in a very meaningful way.

After that, I continued traveling. This year, I am starting to travel with groups of my students. We will visit ancient Egypt in October with my first group.

Beverly Hills Magazine: That will be amazing. The temples of Egypt are calling many people right now because they connect us with earlier civilizations, and many people find those sites powerful. They can also provide an opportunity for people to reflect on themselves and explore their spirituality.

You use hypnotherapy, and for some people, it may seem mysterious or unusual. What misconceptions about hypnotherapy would you like to clear up?

Natalia Ray: I think some people fear being hypnotized. They believe someone can put them into a trance against their will and make them do something or behave foolishly.

That is not what we do.

First of all, my passion is to help people, not hurt them. Secondly, I do not believe it is possible to hypnotize someone against their will.

It is like a dance. It is a tango for two. We talk, connect, and the client willingly enters the trance together with me.

Another misconception is that some people say, “I cannot be hypnotized. I can never go into a trance.” I do not believe that is true. I see it as a skill that can be developed.

The first time, you may simply become more relaxed. The second time, you may go a little deeper. Each time, you can go a little deeper, and I believe this can be a healthy state of relaxation.

Even if you cannot sleep well, a trance state can feel extremely relaxing. I can put myself into a trance quite easily. If I need to rest, for example, after a webinar when I do not feel very well, I might go into a trance for about 15 minutes and then wake up.

For me, it can feel much more restorative than sleeping for an hour because I can rest very quickly in a trance.

Beverly Hills Magazine: That is fascinating.

I also want to delve into your study of neuroscience and intuition. Many people have wondered about intuition. What is it, where does it come from, and what do you believe people may not understand about it?

Natalia Ray: That is a good question.

First, I believe intuition is a normal sense that every soul has. Every person living on Earth has intuition.

I see intuition as a tool related to the soul. Our bodies have five senses, while I believe the soul has another sense: the ability to interact with what I describe as subtler planes.

Some people have a little intuition, while others have developed it more strongly and can sense many things.

I can give people a practical tool for improving intuition that does not have to be viewed as mysterious or mystical.

For example, you may have an intuitive insight when you have to go somewhere and something inside you says, “Do not go.” Or you meet someone and immediately have a feeling that you should not trust that person.

Many people disregard that feeling. They might think, “Why should I judge this person? Maybe he is good,” or, “I should go because I promised.”

At that point, I believe you disconnect from your intuition because you choose to ignore yourself in order to be nice or cautious.

Then something happens, and you think, “Why didn’t I listen? I knew I shouldn’t trust this person.”

Instead, try following the insight. If you have a feeling that you should not go somewhere, choose not to go. Maybe other people will not like it. Maybe you will not look good to them. But you choose yourself.

I believe intuition is yourself. It is even more yourself than your body. It is your soul, and it gives you those insights.

The more you follow those insights, the more you develop your connection with yourself. The more you trust yourself, the more intuitive insights you can receive.

Beverly Hills Magazine: Absolutely. I believe intuition is a gift from God that helps us navigate the physical world as spiritual beings. To reject or disregard it can be unwise. I see it as a protective spiritual gift.

Natalia Ray: That is right. It is extremely important, and we should not disregard it. The more you value those little hints and pieces of guidance, the more connected you become. I believe that channel can open significantly.

Beverly Hills Magazine: It is like tapping into higher realms of spirituality and listening to the promptings of intuition. It also reminds me of Scripture, where Jesus speaks about hearing a voice directing you where to go. It suggests that God can guide us through our spirits and through spiritual promptings.

Listening can be important because those promptings may help protect us from danger in a difficult world.

Natalia Ray: That actually happens frequently with my clients and students. When they start listening to their intuition, they tell me they avoid many troubles, misfortunes, and losses.

I believe every person has spiritual guides or angels and forces of light protecting them. But I believe the way they can receive that protection is through listening.

Intuition is the channel through which they receive those messages.

Beverly Hills Magazine: It is like a telephone wire between us and the spiritual realm. You are right about the importance of spiritual protection. Scripture also speaks about God giving His angels charge over us to guard us in our ways. We all have guardian angels, and that is 100% true.

We all have the potential to experience the beauty of spiritual existence when we ponder the reality of our journey through this world.

Natalia Ray: That is right. I actually love angels. They have such powerful energy.

Beverly Hills Magazine: Absolutely. It is incredible.

What would you say to someone who constantly absorbs the emotions or energy around them but does not understand what is happening or recognize that they may have this sensitivity?

Natalia Ray: People who are clairsentient, or what is sometimes called empathic, can struggle with this sensitivity because they absorb other people’s emotions. They may not know how to establish energetic boundaries.

First, I recommend understanding this ability better. I believe every person has energy boundaries.

If you feel another person’s emotions, it does not necessarily mean those emotions are yours. You can recognize that you have the ability to feel other people’s emotions, but you can also learn to control it.

You can choose when to feel those emotions and when not to feel them. It is like turning a mobile phone on and off.

You turn it on, answer the call, and then turn it off. Personally, I often set an intention before going into a large meeting where there will be many people, such as a dinner, party, or business event.

I may decide that I do not want to feel other people’s emotions or sense everything around me during that particular period.

When I work with a client, however, I intentionally use my ability during the session. I may feel and sense what I perceive from the client. I understand that those feelings are not mine; they belong to the client.

When the session ends, I mentally release what I have experienced because it is not mine.

The key is understanding that you can control the ability. You can decide whether you want to be receptive to everything around you or whether you want to create a boundary.

Beverly Hills Magazine: That is powerful because there is an important distinction between saying, “This is somebody else’s energy,” and believing that you have to carry it yourself.

When someone is unaware of this sensitivity, constantly sensing other people’s negativity can become overwhelming. I like the idea that you can create a boundary and control what you allow into your personal energy field.

Natalia Ray: It is also about controlling your life and your circle of people.

Although I can control what I feel, if I sense that someone is extremely negative, I will also limit my contact with that person. Why would I choose to spend so much time around someone who is consistently negative?

Beverly Hills Magazine: That is true. The Bible teaches that bad company corrupts good character. It also reminds me of fruit: if one piece of fruit begins to rot, it can affect the fruit around it.

It is important to be intentional about our sphere of influence and the people we choose to surround ourselves with.

I want to dive into your Seven Rays Method, which is your unique philosophy. Can you tell us about it?

Natalia Ray: Part of the Seven Rays Method came to me through intuitive insight, which I received in one of what I consider to be places of power.

It happened in Azerbaijan, where there is a holy mountain. On this mountain, I received a revelation about the method.

It is not completely unique. After receiving the insight, I began researching it and discovered that different channelers and healers had received similar insights before.

I believe the first person to write about it was Helena Blavatsky, and after that, many other people received similar insights and used related methods.

However, I did not copy anyone. I received the concept intuitively and began using it myself.

Then I combined it with hypnotherapy and created a series of meditations that combine hypnotherapy with working with particular colors.

The colors are associated with the colors of the rainbow, and each color is related to a particular sphere of life.

For example, I use the color red when working with what I describe as abundance and money blocks.

Beverly Hills Magazine: Natalia, this has been a fascinating exploration of intuition, hypnotherapy, trauma, emotional awareness, spirituality, energetic boundaries, and the many ways people seek to understand themselves. Your journey demonstrates how deeply personal experiences can shape a person’s professional path and philosophy.

Whether someone approaches these subjects from a spiritual, psychological, or exploratory perspective, the conversation reminds us of the importance of self-awareness, emotional discernment, personal boundaries, and thoughtful reflection. Natalia, thank you for sharing your experiences and insights with Beverly Hills Magazine.

Natalia Ray: Thank you very much for having me. I believe that every person has their own gifts, intuition, and inner guidance. My hope is that people learn to understand themselves better, recognize their emotions, establish healthy boundaries, and trust themselves more deeply. When we become more connected with ourselves, we can create more meaningful relationships, make more conscious choices, and live with greater awareness.

3 Key Takeaways from Natalia Ray

  • Intuition can be developed through awareness and practice. Natalia believes everyone possesses intuition and that paying attention to subtle inner signals can strengthen a person’s connection with themselves and help them make more conscious decisions.
  • Emotional and energetic boundaries are essential. Natalia emphasizes distinguishing between your own emotions and what you perceive from other people, particularly for highly sensitive individuals. She encourages people to consciously establish boundaries and be intentional about the people they allow into their lives.
  • Healing requires addressing deeper emotional experiences. Natalia connects many of the blocks she encounters with past trauma and unresolved emotional experiences. Through her combination of hypnotherapy and energy work, she seeks to help clients explore these deeper patterns and create greater emotional and personal awareness.

Conclusion

Natalia Ray’s work reflects a growing interest in understanding the relationship between the mind, intuition, personal experience, and the unexplained. With a foundation in clinical hypnotherapy, thousands of client sessions, four books, and extensive initiatory training, she brings an unusual combination of professional experience and spiritual exploration to her work.

Yet perhaps what makes her perspective most distinctive is her emphasis on discernment. Rather than encouraging people to accept every intuitive experience at face value, Natalia invites them to become more observant, grounded, and thoughtful about what they perceive. Her 7 Rays Method reflects that philosophy by giving intuitive development a structured framework.

As conversations surrounding consciousness and human potential continue to evolve, Natalia Ray represents a fascinating voice within that conversation. Her work encourages us to remain curious about what we may not yet fully understand while maintaining the critical thinking needed to separate genuine insight from assumption.

Ultimately, her message is one of exploration: understand the mind, respect the unknown, develop greater self-awareness, and approach extraordinary experiences with both curiosity and discernment.
