There was no way that Christian Von Koenigsegg was going to remain silent while Bugatti took all the glory. Last year, the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ set a new top-speed record. So, to counter the Bugatti cars, Koenigsegg has introduced the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut.
Although it looks similar to the Jesko, the Jesko Absolut has certain features and modifications which make it unique. All of these new features give high-speed stability to the car.
Engine and Performance
Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut derives its power from the in-house built twin-turbo V8 engine with 1,600 horsepower. Moreover, a nine-speed Light Speed Transmission powers the rear wheels of the car. The amazing thing about this luxury car is that it can change gear in a split millisecond, from any gear to any other gear.
Currently, Koenigsegg hasn’t made any performance claims, however, the Jesko Absolut will easily break the 300 mph barrier. According to Christian Von Koenigsegg, the car should be able to achieve a top speed of 330 mph.
Exterior

Interior
The interior of the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut is quite luxurious and comfortable. Koenigsegg has redesigned the doors. They now open slightly outwards and upwards, in comparison to the original. This provides more room.
The interior of the Jesko Absolut contains luxury materials, like leather, carbon fiber, alcantara, aluminum, and glass. The designers have built the sports bucket seats around a carbon fiber seat shell, resulting in a seat that is extremely light and comfortable.
Infotainment
The Jesko Absolut features a TFT touchscreen, USB inputs, Bluetooth, inductive phone charging, and automated climate controls. Some other noteworthy features include, a five-inch digital dashboard mounted on the steering wheel. There is also a nine-inch central display. Moreover, the steering wheel features two small touchscreens with haptic controls. Drivers can also benefit from the over-the-air updates, thanks to Koenigsegg partnering with a software development company.
