Beverly Hills Magazine: What is your business philosophy?
Chad Rogers: It changes over the years, but one thing that remains the same is the fact that I always make myself available to clients, no matter what time, day or night.
Beverly Hills Magazine: What makes doing a deal with you, different than with anybody else?
Chad Rogers: I have been in the business for about 20 years which has given me a lot of time to sharpen my craft. I’ve garnered years of insight and experience, as well as a substantial database of resources and contacts that my clients may benefit from. You really can’t know the best of the best until you’ve been immersed in the business for years, and I have.
Beverly Hills Magazine: What are the biggest challenges on the road to success in the business?
Chad Rogers: Adaptability is the biggest challenge. In an ever evolving market, success is achieved by molding your business to current market trends. Right now inventory is low, so getting new clients is very competitive and successful agents have to strategize to ensure their success in any market conditions.
Beverly Hills Magazine: How do you overcome competition?
Chad Rogers: You have to set yourself apart from the rest, and generate repeat business. If you make a client happy, you have a client for life, and they will refer you to their family and friends.

Beverly Hills Magazine: What do you enjoy most about the real estate business?
Chad Rogers: I’m a people person, and in this business I get to be a matchmaker by introducing clients to their perfect dream home. It’s a very rewarding aspect of what I do. I also get a rush when I’m involved in a transaction on a one of a kind property.
Beverly Hills Magazine: What are the current trends in the market place?
Chad Rogers: The biggest trend today, especially in the luxury market, is that clients want and even expect all homes to be SMART HOMES, this includes fully automated technology systems for lighting, music, thermostats, shades, etc. These are becoming the normal must haves in homes $5 Million and up.
Beverly Hills Magazine: What advice would you give to other aspiring real estate agents out there?
Chad Rogers: The best advice I’d give is to focus on the client, not the commission. Don’t count your chickens before they hatch. You really have to manage your expectations because sometimes deals cancel, and this can be really disappointing, even depressing. If you focus on your client and giving the best service possible, the commission will come.
Beverly Hills Magazine: Do you have a personal quote that you live by?
Chad Rogers: I’m a big believer in quotes; they get us to relate to each other and can really motivate us. The quote I like to live by is-“Success is not to be pursued, it is to be attracted by the person you become”- To become a success you have to change your mind set. If you’re being challenged, it means you’re growing as a person. Always believe in yourself, not what others think you can achieve. We are a magnet to what we believe.
