The high-end family-friendly Paradise Point Resort Resort & Spa is located on a 44-acre island in Mission Bay. Although designed in the 1960s, Paradise Point has since been expanded and renovated. However, it still features bungalow-style cottages along a mile-long stretch of beach, lush landscaping, along with resort amenities, like pools and tennis courts.

Paradise Point is present on Mission Bay and is a short drive from San Diego and SeaWorld. Its location right next to SeaWorld makes this resort a kid magnet. So, you can face crowds, especially at the pools and restaurants during the peak season.

The hotel is also close to San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park, which can be reached in around 15 minutes by car. Moreover, the San Diego airport is a 15-minute drive from the hotel.

The recently redesigned coast-chic rooms feature navy blue accent walls, Palm Beach-style spindle chairs in kelly green, nautical flag throw pillows, and wood shutters. The entry-level guest rooms feature queen beds and a patio with two Adirondack chairs. The premium standard guestrooms contain patios and king beds, some with water views. Moreover, the stylish bayside bungalows are quite spacious.

The bathrooms vary by room style and are quite up-to-date. Moreover, the lobby features a bamboo ceiling, natural stone flooring, and Hawaiian ohia wood columns, along with eye-catching lighting.

Other Attractions

Some other amazing attractions of Paradise Point are the five pools, a gym, and a spa.

Paradise Point has five pools including an adult-only lagoon. The main pool of the hotel is kid-friendly, however, adults can order beer and margaritas. Moreover, all the pools have chaise lounges and other seating.

The hotel’s huge fitness gym contains strength-training equipment, cardio machines, and free weights. The guests can also make bookings for private yoga sessions. The locker rooms feature a dry sauna and eucalyptus steam room.

Culinary Experiences

The hotel’s signature restaurant, Tidal, has a mid-century modern island vibe as it is set in a 60s beachfront home.

Another amazing restaurant that you need to check out is the Barefoot Bar and Grill, which has been operational since 1962. It has an expansive sun-drenched patio next to a lagoon and a tropical waterfall. It’s a great place for drinks.

Paradise Point is truly a Paradise close to San Diego. So, for a family vacation, you shouldn’t miss this resort’s beautiful 44-acre land. For more information, visit the Discover Mission Bay website.
