The series follows the adventures and misadventures of Bartholomew Fogglehorn, a young actor with dreams of making it big in Hollywood. Barth frequently escapes into his own microcosm of cinematic adventures as Velvet Prozak, his alter ego, who takes him through a joyride of red carpet rendezvous and fantastic experiences. The show satires the glitz of Hollywood by sugar-coating its profound aberrations. Barth soon realizes that anything that can go wrong in Hollywood, does go wrong.

This show is certainly an opportune return for both David and Lou since it befits the trends of their discography. Lou Ferrigno first appeared on television as the firebrand superhero in The Incredible Hulk (1977.) Despite a partial loss of hearing caused by a childhood ear infection, Lou continued to strive, and soon made a name for himself in Hollywood with his brilliant charisma, impressive acting chops, massive athletic frame, and good looks.

Big Lou, as he is most affectionately called, has starred in several remarkable movies and television shows including Hercules (1983,) Sinbad of the Seven Seas (1989,) and Frogtown II (1992.) He has guest-starred in The Fall Guy (1981), The New Mike Hammer (1984,) and had bagged a recurring role in The King of Queens (1998.) His popularity grew unimpeded, and soon Big Lou returned to his professional bodybuilding career at the ripe age of 43.

His most recent appearances were in The Misery Brothers (1995,) Ping! (2000,) as a security guard in the 2003 remake of The Hulk, and From Heaven to Hell (2002) and on King of Queens (2005) as himself. Now, he is set to make his big return with The Adventures of Velvet Prozak!

Starting alongside Lou is David DeLuise, a literal father figure in the world of cinema and television. David is the son of the legendary artiste Dom DeLuise and has made played many memorable characters in shows like The Wizards of Waverly Place, Stargate SG-1, and 3rd Rock from the Sun. He has starred opposite Christina Applegate in Jesse, and has played recurring roles on Rizzoli & Isles, The Mentalist, Baby Daddy, Without a Trace, Monk, Hawaii Five-0, Gilmore Girls, CSI: New York, CSI, and CSI: Miami. He has also featured on the big screen in Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie which was watched by approximately 25 million people. He has played roles in Vampires Suck, Believe, Pup Star, Dracula Dead and Loving It, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, BachelorMan, Dirt Merchant, Terror Tract, Kicking and Screaming, and so on. As a proficient actor and wholesome entertainer, David’s unique and hilarious brand of comedy is sure to do ample justice to his recent stint as a part of The Adventures of Velvet Prozak.
