Dr. Hillel Mazansky discovered his passion for medicine as young boy who would watch his uncle, also a doctor, visit the family and take care of all the members. But it wasn’t until he himself was diagnosed with metastic testicular cancer that he endured severe traditional medicine procedures and had to undergo surgery that he discovered his true calling in the field of medicine.
He was sent to a female holistic healer who was to help him with his nausea. She conducted several mind-body hypnosis techniques; she had him visualize healing materials to assist in the blood loss control. She assured him from the session, that she could stop the nausea, and control his level of blood loss during surgery. He didn’t believe it.
It wasn’t until after surgery that he learned that instead of the expected 10-12 units of blood to be lost during his procedure, he lost a mere 3 units. He was in awe.
From then one he set out to create a holistic medicine practice based on the fact that the mind causes all ones physical and psychological ailments, and if the mind causes them, which it does, then the mind can heal itself as well, through guided imagery (visualization) and hypnosis.
