The Beloved City of Beverly Hills will hold a ceremony on Sept. 11 to mark the 15th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks and honor our fallen heroes. The ceremony will include a laying of the wreath, songs by the Beverly Hills High School Madrigals and a Beverly Hills Police Department color guard.
The ceremony will take place Sun. Sept., 11 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the Fire Department headquarters, 445 N. Rexford Dr., near the 9-11 Memorial Garden.
An informal ceremony, also open to the public, will be held at 6:45 a.m. that morning to coincide with the timing of the 9-11 attacks. Free two-hour parking is available in the Civic Center parking structure or the Crescent Drive structure on the west side of City Hall. The City encourages attendees to not bring large bags or backpacks to the 9/11 event. All bags may be subject to search for event safety and security.
