It accounts for more than half of all GLE Hybrid sales.
The other version is 400; it has a more refined six-cylinder diesel engine with 268bhp. For this version, it only needs 6.9 seconds to speed from zero to 60mph. Yet, the 450 version takes those standards higher than the first two. Its total output equals 362hp and can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds.
Moreover, the six-cylinder 3-liter hybrid petrol engine happens to be the most impressive amongst them. This petro version offers high levels of refinement that are in tune with the general comfort and ambiance of GLE’s. Again, the powertrain uses a 48-volt EQ boost to deliver better responses on lower revs.
All the GLEs come with a standard nine-speed automatic transmission system. Besides, the steering wheel comes with a pair of paddles for enhancing control when driving on off-road terrain.
The Features and Styling of Mercedes Benz GLE
The SUVs play host to smart features, which are standard to all GLE. They include 19-inch wheels, LED headlights, a hands-free liftgate, power-folding mirror, sunroof, automatic wipers, keyless ignition and entry, adaptive suspension dampers, automated parking system, dual automatic climate control, simulated leather upholstery (MB-Tex), heated front seats, virtual instrument panel, and split-folding rear seats.
On the dashboard, you get the MBUX infotainment system, navigation system, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen. Plus, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, HD radio, and five USB-C ports. The midsize SUV comes with advanced safety features such as emergency communications, blind-sport monitor, front collision warning and mitigation, passenger exit alert system, drowsy driver monitoring system, and rear cross-traffic alert.
The SUV offers an optional third-row of seats with USB ports but is not powered like the second-row seats. Another inclusion is the premium package that includes a household power outlet, interior ambient lighting, and a 13-speaker Burmester sound system. Others are satellite radio, wireless charging pad, driver assist, a low drive automated driving system, and many more outstanding features.
The body design has many rounders on the exterior, and the surface is smoother than on earlier models but still looks the same. The front grille is reminiscent of the previous GL model whereas, the side steps and sporty exhausts compliment the outer look. 
Buying Price of Mercedes-Benz GLE Hybrid
The latest model, GLE 350, has a starting price of $58,750. And as expected, all the other GLE are more costly. For instance, GLE 450 has a price tag of $62,000, while the starting price for the petrol-engine hybrid range is $62,300.

This model is proof enough that Mercedes can mix petrol and electric plug-in hybrid. But unlike other manufacturers who opt to combine petrol and hybrid, Mercedes does it with diesel.
