How to Achieve Your Most Beautiful Self

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. However, that’s not satisfactory enough for some people. When you’re not feeling beautiful, it’s easy to get carried away. The important thing to focus on is whether or not it’s something you can control. In order to feel your most beautiful, you’ll need to know what you can and cannot do to accomplish this goal. Here are a few suggestions for how you can feel and look your most beautiful. (Image Credit:  Adina Voicu/Pixabay)

What You Can Change

If you notice that there’s something about your appearance that you don’t like, the first thing you should ask yourself is if you can change it or not. If you want to change something about yourself and you have the ability to, by all means, do what it takes to feel your best.

Being able to change whatever it is that you don’t like means having the ability to do something or go somewhere to accomplish your desired end result. If you’re overweight, you have the ability to work out more and balance your diet so you can lose some weight. If you’re unhappy with the color of your smile, you can buy teeth whitening strips. The same goes for cosmetic procedures. In 2017, the United States was the country with the highest number of cosmetic procedures worldwide, with over four million such operations. If you want something changed, see if it’s possible.

For example, let’s say your moisturizing cream hasn’t been doing the trick lately and you’re tired of the wrinkles showing on your face and neck. Fillers can be injected into the face to restore volume deficits in the cheeks and improve contours that may be looking less than perky. If that’s what it takes for you to have the confidence to go about your day feeling good, then do what you need to do.

Similarly, perhaps you’re a woman who struggles with body image issues or even suffers from back pain as a result of big cleavage. Plastic Surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery perform more than 90,000 breast reductions each year in the United States. Why suffer through pain or feelings of discomfort when you don’t have to? Your beauty shines through when you feel your most beautiful and comfortable in your skin, so don’t be ashamed to do what it takes to get there.

Things You Can’t Physically Change

If there’s something about yourself that you can’t physically change, perhaps like how tall you are or the sound of your voice, ask yourself if it’s worth the energy spent disliking it if you cannot do anything to change it. Instead, you could spend that energy loving the parts of yourself you don’t enjoy as much. At the end of the day, you’re the only person you’ve got. So why spend your time putting yourself down or doing anything other than loving yourself?

Sometimes, beauty comes from self-love rather than your actual appearance. True beauty really is within you. When you feel good about yourself, you’ll look better too. Whether it’s through physical changes or mental changes, do whatever it takes to feel your most beautiful.
