What trends have you seen taking place in the travel industry? “People used to come to visit the Holy City for their religious interests and curiosities, though now Israel has become more of a destination, where people from all over the world can delve into the beautiful city of the past while enjoying modern comforts of today. Also, people are planning vacations last minute instead of planning weeks in advance, which is great. It shows people feel more comfortable to come visit our wonderful city.”
What is life like in Isreal today? “It is different than most people expect. It’s a very modern lifestyle with the old world look and feel with all the landmarks that make Israel special. The first train station has now become a great restaurant for guests of the city to enjoy, as well we had Formula 1 racing hosted in the city. Jerusalem is opening up to the rest of the world and we hope many more will come to visit.”
Why travel to Israel? “It is the Holy Land, but it has married with the present day. When you come to visit you will find that the air is different here. It’s a very special place.”
