You must have heard the saying “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication, “well the phrase definitely fits with the Asus Memo Pad. The tablet has a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels at 169 ppi. The technology used in the Pad is quite complicated and it can be seen by the 1GHz VIA WM8950 CPU and a Mali-400 GPU, and has 1GB RAM. While the text does not appear to be crisp, it is easily readable and can be used for eBooks. It has a front 1MP camera which is great for personal pictures. The tablet houses power and volume buttons on the left side, while the right side is totally clean. There is a speaker located on the back. Out of all the things that a user wants in a tablet or even in a phone, is the ability to multi-task, the Asus Memo Pad defiantly gives this feature. The good news for Asus users is that the high end tech prototype supports 1080 video. These tablets run on Android 4.1 OS with some minor tweaks. The tablet features a floating widget video player that lets you view videos while performing some other tasks, which is very cool. The video window can be resized; it can be dragged and located anywhere on the screen. Isn’t that awesome?!
