Miss Israeli at 18
Gal learned and danced jazz and hip-hop for 12 years while growing up in Israel. Her first jobs were babysitting and working in the local Burger King. So when she entered the Miss Isreal competition at age 18, she thought it was just going to be a fun experience. She never had it in mind to win. At 20, she began her compulsory two years of military service in the Israel Defense forces as a fitness instructor. This helped her win her first significant role as Gisele in Fast and Furious.

Her annual modeling and acting salary in 2013 turned out to be NIS 2.4 million. In 2017, she joined FHM’s 100 sexiest women in the world list. In 2018, she became the brand ambassador for Revlon and Reebok.
Acting
A casting director approached Gadot’s agent after her first year of college, asking her to come for the audition for the role of Camille Montes in the James Bond film Quantum of Solace. Unfortunately, she lost the role to another actress but starred in an Israeli drama, ‘Bubot,’ a few months later. Three months later, the director chose her over six actresses for the role of Gisele Yashar in Fast and Furious.
The franchise kept bringing her back in different seasons, but it played a pivotal role in her success. In 2016, Gal played our favorite, Wonder Woman. She received swordsmanship, Kung fu, Kickboxing, Capoeira, and Brazillian Jiu-jitsu training in preparation for the role.
Not to mention that while serving in the Wonder woman franchise, she played a small role in the crime-thriller Triple-9, where Kate Winslet and Aaron Paul starred. Later that same year, she played Ryan Reynolds’s wife in the movie Criminal, continued in the wonder woman franchise, and went to Wreck-it Ralph.

Cleopatra, a Paramount Pictures epic drama about Cleopatra, will be released on October 11, 2020, with Gadot collaborating with Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins.
