About Electric Angels
The Electric Angels use the classic instruments of the standard string quartet in very unconventional ways. Wirelessly connected to the sound system so that they can move about the stage with ease, these talented and beautiful young musicians will engage and entertain you by creating a complete visual and sonic experience. They play unique arrangements of current and classic rock and pop hits on electric violins, viola and cello, to custom backing tracks, which are mixed live on the spot. These sexy and seriously trained young string players are experienced in a wide range of musical styles. They are actively involved in LA’s recording, commercial, and film industries and have built impressive resumes that include national television shows like American Idol and Glee, and late night and awards shows with artists such as Kanye West, P. Diddy, and Nicki Minaj. In addition, they have toured internationally with well-known acts such as Celine Dion and Burt Bacharach. Nationally, they have supported Tony Bennett, LeAnn Rhimes, Snoop Dogg, John Williams, Steven Tyler, and Bobby McFerrin. They have appeared on Grammy-nominated records and as part of world-renowned groups Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Il Divo.

Scott Fields, Craig Hendry, Liam McLachlan and Jason Short spent much of the 2000s travelling the world with acclaimed Australian vocal group, The Ten Tenors. Having performed in over 25 countries around the world and more than 250 shows per year, they decided to go their separate ways. As luck would have it, they all ended up in the USA, and (to cut a long and nap-inducing story short) the lads reunited in 2012 to perform for a one-off charity gala in Texas. One gig turned into two, two into three, and before long, they realized that they stumbled onto something pretty special. Thus, ARIA was born.
