Beverly Hills Magazine: When did you discover your passion for extensions?
Violet Teriti: As a young girl I was very much a “girly girl,” even though my own mother never even dyed her hair. When I grew up, my parents sent me to the US from Russia and one day I saw someone doing a woman’s hair and putting extensions in. She transformed before my eyes, and I fell in love with this “beauty magic.”
Beverly Hills Magazine: Why did you start your company?
Violet Teriti: I learned everything I could about it but I didn’t like the method. I wanted to come up with something that didn’t have glue. So I went back to Russia and sourced non-processed, natural Slavic hair.
Beverly Hills Magazine: What is the best method?
Violet Teriti: Definitely micro-beading. It lasts the longest and is the easiest to install and remove, causing the least amount of damage.
Beverly Hills Magazine: How do you choose the right application technique for your desired results?
Violet Teriti: It depends on the individual’s texture and their budget. Also how long they want them to lasts is a big factor. Some clients just want it for an event, some want them forever. We consult with each client and then decide what is the best.

Violet Teriti: I’m not really a fan, but I appreciate that they exist as an option. For celebrity clients, I can customize them when needed.

Violet Teriti: To see all women strong, beautiful, confident and healthy.
- MAINTENANCE TIPS: Always comb any tangles out BEFORE washing and make sure to only use shampoo and conditioner designed exclusively for extensions. Sleep on a satin pillowcase so that you are able to move your head freely without causing breakage or loosening the extensions, and always tie your hair in one braid before going in chlorine or salt water.
- PRODUCT DOs & DON’Ts: Avoid products containing alcohol as they are known to dull the shine nor oil as they will wear the hair down. The best product to use is a light pomade to smooth down the edges or a light shine to keep the locks silky.
